Once again, members of the public have been called upon to assist in saving Master Abdullah Abdulkareem, 13 – years – old Junior Secondary School 3 student of Oriwu Junior Model College, Ikorodu, who was diagnosed with chronic heart disease and in need of N10millon, to settle his medical bill at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
He is also to undergo an operation at the hospital, to correct his heart problem.
According Alhaja Monsurat Odumbo, a teacher and one of the advocates for the treatment of the boy, the sum of N7, 860, 498.75 has been raised as at today, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, after weeks of appeal, remaining N2, 139, 501. 25 as outstanding.
This has prompted further appeals for assistance in raising the balance and give brilliant Abdullah an opportunity to live a good life and rejoin his peers in school to pursue his education.
